Beatle Mania

Another friend from home and another weekend trip for us. Christy, Brian and I headed to Liverpool this weekend for a bit of Beatles related fun. The weather was a bit gray but the city was in celebration mode since it was Paul McCartney's 64 th birthday, as in his hit "When I'm 64." We did a bus

tour of their homes, visited the Cavern (the club they played in) and went to the Beatles Museum. All very cool! We also did a lot of walking, visited the Liverpool Cathedral, did a Ducks Tour, watched some World Cup games, went to a few pubs, and the very fun 80's Bar. All in a we decided Liverpool is a party town!

Wales

The walking here is world famous for good reason- beautiful mountains, long waterfalls, meandering streams, lush meadows...

Snowdon Mountain, the largest in Wales is a popular and breath-taking hike.

Look mom- a baby seagull, my family in NJ would be impressed. We didn't think they existed!

The Pembrokeshire Coast- it's gorgeous. These are the prettiest sandy beaches we've seen since Cornwall.
